Bourke’s Luck Potholes.
Through years of erosion you will find bizar figures in the rocks.
The Blyde River Canyon is the third largest canyon in the world
and the greenest. The viewpoints give a stunning view of the Three Rondavels and the Blyde dam lake.
The Panorama Route is a beautiful route and it is a great day out !
In Hazyview, recently opened, is the Perry’ Bridge Reptile Park with twice a day a demonstration with several snakes.
ELEPHANT SANCTUARY:
Fans of the gentle giants the elephants, can learn more about them in
the Elephant Sanctuary where you can have a close encounter with them,
feed them and walk with them, absolutely thrilling.
SHANGANA EVENING FESTVAL:
For the ones who love dancing and singing, the Shangana Evening Festival
is a great way to get introduced into the Shangaan Culture. You will visit a
traditional village, meet with the witchdoctor and have dinner with the Chief.
SUDWALA CAVES:
Close to Nelspruit ( app.70 km) you can visit the Sudwala Caves and the Dinosaur
Park.
CHIMPANZEE EDEN:
A visit to the Jane Goodall Institute Chimpanzee Eden (also Nelspruit) is
time well worth spend.
WILDLIFE REHAB CENTRE:
In Hoedspruit ( app. 110 km north) you can visit the Moholoholo Animal
Rehabilitation
Centre, which you may be already have seen on
Animal Planet. At the Cheetah
Breeding Project you can have a full and
good
llook at the cheetahs and the
special King Cheetah.
